Channel Drains & Pool Deck Drainage in Oviedo, FL

A channel drain (also called a linear drain or trench drain) is a narrow, continuous surface drain set flush into a hard surface - a pool deck, patio, driveway, or garage apron. Water running across the surface enters the channel along its whole length and is carried to a drain point, instead of pooling or running toward the house.

This is the highest-ticket drainage work we do, and it's the most technical. Where a yard drain or French drain is buried in soil, a channel drain has to be set level into concrete or pavers, sized to the water load, and pitched to an outlet. Get any of that wrong and it either doesn't catch the water or it backs up. It's a job for drainage knowledge plus concrete and paver finish work - which is exactly what we do.

The classic Central Florida case is the pool: the deck slopes away from the water, and where it meets the house or a planter, runoff collects. We cut a channel drain in at that low line so the water is caught and moved off the deck before it reaches the structure.
